Quotations – Democracy bad for Germany

The quotations section of this website is still under construction.

“…The Reichstag of late has become a laughing-stock by reason of its impotence, and a change could not fail to come. There is therefore justification for Hitler’s overbearing attitude in the fact that there must be a Government, whereas democracy seems unable to provide one. The experiment has worked well in Italy. A few people may have been harshly dealt with, but the nation as a whole has substantially benefited, and the good of the many must take precedence of the convenience of the few.”
